New signing at Priestfield.
Gillingham have completed the signing of Bury midfielder Callum Reilly on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old, a former Republic of Ireland U21 international, has featured 25 times for the Shakers this season and scored one goal, that coming against Stoke City’s U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy in November.
Callum began his career in the youth ranks at Birmingham City, and having forced his way into first team contention he went on to make 66 appearances for the Blues, scoring twice.
A loan spell at Burton Albion followed in March 2015 before a permanent deal was agreed later that summer. Last January the player joined Coventry City on loan until mid-April before signing for Bury on a two-year deal in May.
The midfielder has been given squad number 26 and is eligible for selection ahead of Gillingham’s trip to Scunthorpe United on Saturday.
