Steve Lovell's side to visit Millwall in August.
Gillingham will play Millwall at the Den in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday August 14, kick-off at 7.45pm.
The draw was made in Vietnam earlier this month and it will see Steve Lovell return to one of his former clubs, having played for the Lions between 1983 and 1987.
Last season the Gills were drawn away to Reading in the opening round; the visitors suffering a 2-0 defeat at the Madejski Stadium.
