Nashey leaves Gills to join Cork City.
Liam Nash has signed for Cork City until the end of the season after the player, along with the club, decided to cancel his contract at Gillingham FC.
The 23-year-old striker has only featured twice for Steve Lovell’s side this season and has recently been on trial with Cork in the hope of earning a permanent deal.
He signed his paperwork on Tuesday afternoon.
Nash joined the Gills in the summer of 2017 on a two-year deal after impressing during pre-season and went on to make 14 appearances during the 2017/18 season.
The forward recently enjoyed a loan stint at Concord Rangers, having had previous spells with Dulwich Hamlet and Leatherhead, but has decided to move to Ireland in order to gain regular first team Football.
Everyone at Priestfield would like to thank Liam for his services while at the club and we wish him every success in the future.
