Gills complete loan signing of Forest Green forward.
Gillingham have secured their fourth signing of the January transfer window with the capture of striker Tahvon Campbell on loan from Forest Green Rovers until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old came through the youth system at West Bromwich Albion but made his league debut for Kidderminster against Grimsby in August 2015.
Stints at Yeovil Town, Solihull Moors and Notts County followed before joining Forest Green, initially on a loan basis, in January 2018. The deal was made permanent last summer with Campbell putting pen to paper on a one-year contract. While at Forest Green, Tahvon has made 39 appearances and scored seven goals.
The forward will be available for selection for Gills game against Coventry on Saturday.
Steve Lovell said: “Tahvon is an ambitious, talented player who I have kept an eye on for a while. He will offer something different to our forward line and his addition will provide greater competition for starting places.
“I am sure our fans will enjoy watching him play.”
