Gills to begin campaign at home.
Gillingham will play Hull City at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on the opening weekend of the 2020/21 Sky Bet League 1 season.
Hull, recently relegated from the Championship, will make the trip to Kent on Saturday September 12 for their first fixture back in the third tier.
Steve Evans and his men will take to the road a week later to take on Wigan Athletic who, like Hull, came down from the Championship.
The Gills are at home to Peterborough United on Boxing Day before making the long trip to Plymouth Argyle for the first fixture of 2021. This game takes place on January 2 rather than New Year’s Day.
And the Pilgrims, promoted to League 1 last season, will be the club’s final home fixture of the season. Gills entertain Plymouth on Saturday May 8.
Other fixtures of note include heading to Ipswich for an evening game on Tuesday October 27 before welcoming Sunderland just four days later.
Gillingham welcome Charlton Athletic to ME7 on Saturday November 21, they visit the Stadium of Light to play Sunderland on Saturday January 30 and travel to the KCOM Stadium to play Hull on Saturday March 27.
