Forward turns loan switch into permanent move at Priestfield.
Tyreke Johnson has completed a permanent move to MEMS Priestfield Stadium.
The 22-year-old forward, who signed for the Gills on loan from Southampton last week, made his debut against Burton Albion at the weekend with a permanent move suggested when the initial deal was completed.
Following his first appearance, manager Steve Evans said: “The kid had a decent debut.
“He delivered a few superb crosses in the first period but he lacked quality service in that period.
“In the second half we pushed him up top and he created a few problems, he will be fine for us.”
