The Gills boss provides an update following a training ground game.
Stuart O’ Keefe produced an outstanding 60 minutes in a training ground game this morning and has put himself right in contention for a starting place in Saturday's team for the visit of Rochdale.
Manager Steve Evans also confirmed he has a couple of central midfielders doubtful for Saturday, so the early return for O’Keefe is a huge boost for the Gills.
The Manager said: "Stuart was excellent in everything he did today and was one of a number of players who stood out.
“He is very much in my thoughts ahead of Saturday and in fairness we have missed him."
