Gills allocated ball 14 for Carabao Cup first round draw

The Carabao Cup first round draw will take place this coming Thursday on Sky Sports News.

Gillingham have been allocated ball number 14 in the southern section for this Thursday's Carabao Cup first round draw.

This will take place at 2.30pm on Sky Sports News and ties will be played the week commencing August 8.

Neil Harris' men will have already begun their league campaign by this stage, with the new season kicking off on July 30, and fixtures are set to be released at 9am on June 23.

Last season the Gills reached the second round of the competition, defeating Crawley Town in the opening round on penalties before losing out by the same method at home to Cheltenham Town in round two.
