Henry Woods leaves Gills and signs for Maidstone

Academy graduate signs for National League side.

Henry Woods has signed for Maidstone United on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old is a product of the club's youth system and made his professional debut as a substitute in the Gills 2-1 win over Crawley in an EFL Trophy tie at Priestfield in November 2018.

He has since gone on to make a further 12 appearances for the first-team, enjoying a loan spell with Concord Rangers in the process.

Woods signed for Dover Athletic on loan at the beginning of last season, which was later extended until the end of the campaign, where he made 30 appearances and scored one goal.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Henry for his services and we wish him well for the future.
