Gillingham to play Sheffield United at Priestfield in FA Cup third round

Gills drawn at home to Premier League side in FA Cup third round.

Gillingham will play Premier League side Sheffield United at Priestfield in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Stephen Clemence has guided his team to this stage following a 2-0 win at Edgar Street over Hereford in round one, before defeating League 1 Charlton by the same scoreline at Priestfield to be in the hat for round three.

ITV broadcast the draw prior to the tie between Eastleigh and Reading and it will see Gills host a Premier League side in January for the second successive year.
