Evening kick-off for Charlton friendly confirmed.
Gills will welcome Charlton Athletic to Priestfield for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday July 18 (7.30pm).
The Addicks, now under the management of Dean Holden, finished 10th in League 1 last season and finished the 2022/23 campaign with six wins from their final 11 fixtures.
The clubs last met competitively in an EFL Trophy group stage tie at The Valley last August, a game Charlton won 3-0.
Gills pre-season schedule is beginning to shape up with a trip to Dover Athletic already confirmed for July 8 (1pm). Games against Chatham (July 14, 7.45), Dartford (July 22, 1pm) and Dagenham & Redbridge (July 29, 3pm) have also been pencilled in.
Furthermore the club will visit Como for a pre-season tour, which will involve a fixture on Wednesday July 12, 1pm start. An open training session is also scheduled, details of which to follow.
