Magnus Search Recruitment to sponsor the Medway Stand for the next three seasons.
Gillingham FC is delighted to announce a new partnership with recruitment specialists, Magnus Search. The agreement will see the Medway Stand at MEMS Priestfield Stadium renamed to become “The Magnus Search Medway Stand”, initially until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Magnus Search, whose head office is based locally in Maidstone, are experts in recruitment, with specialism in logistics, healthcare and transport. As part of the new partnership, Gills fans will notice regular job opportunities being promoted inside the stadium, as well as across the club’s digital assets.
Commercial and Event Sales Executive for The Gills, Meg Howarth, said; “I’m delighted to welcome Magnus Search to our growing group of sponsors. They have been a pleasure to work with over the past few months, and I’m grateful that they’ve chosen to extend their association with the club to become holders of the Medway Stand Naming Rights.
"The signage that has been installed really adds to the look of the stadium, which we are trying to improve all the time. Whilst clearly this is a great financial deal for us, it’s just as important that we align ourselves with businesses that care for the people of Medway, and Magnus certainly tick that box, as they look to raise awareness of local employment opportunities in the area.”
Bradley Wood, Director of Magnus Search said: “It’s an exciting time at Gillingham Football Club right now and to have the opportunity to partner with the club was timely. Our aim is to support the club and the community at the same time. We want to engage with the Gills fans and hopefully any fan looking for work, immediately or passively, will now engage with our amazing team based in Maidstone.
"We are gaining new job roles to our inventory week on week, so make sure you check our socials often not to miss out on opportunities. Finally, thanks to the Galinsons for bringing our club back to life. UP THE GILLS!”
The announcement of the three-year deal for the naming rights kicks off what is expected to be a busy time for the club commercially, as it looks to add to its growing partnership base.
Joe Comper, Head of Commercial, said: “Since the takeover, we’ve been delighted with the engagement levels of local businesses. We are keen to work with thriving businesses like Magnus Search, and I’m delighted that they’ve chosen to join us at a really exciting time for the club. My thanks go to Brad and his team at Magnus for backing us, and also for their desire to do positive things for our fanbase as well. I’m really excited about what we can do together as this partnership develops.”
