Team News:

Lewis Walker could be involved in the matchday squad for the final game of the season at Salford, however his fitness will be monitored closely before the team travel.

Neil Harris could make changes to the starting XI, with Oli Hawkins and David Tutonda pushing for starts. Josh Chambers and Jayden Clarke could both get minutes, with Ethan Coleman also looking to keep his place in midfield.

Having won 3-2 away at Carlisle, Neil Wood could name the same starting XI from that game. Callum Hendry and Luke Bolton both scored in the fixture and should retain their places. Matty Lund and Conor McAleny will be fighting to start the all-important fixture as Salford hope to secure a play-off place.

Manager Comments:

Neil Wood - “It’s important we don’t take it for granted that we’re in there [the play-off places]. What it does is leaves us in a good position going into the last game, which we want; it’s in our hands.”

Neil Harris - "I want to finish as high as possible. On January 14 the aim was to stay in the division.

"Whatever happens on Monday will not tarnish what we achieved, which has been phenomenal."
