Coleman | "We are trying to build momentum"

The mindset is to win, says Ethan Coleman.

Ethan Coleman says that Gillingham need to turn up to every League Two game as if it were a battle, regardless of where the opposition sit in the division.

Newport sit 19th in the table, but Coleman says it will still require a full-bloodied effort, if they want the three points.

"We want to go for the throat when we play," he said. "And we need to play until the final whistle.

"Everyones' mindset going into Saturday will be to win. We are trying to build up momentum, just like we had at the start of the season. We will go again on Saturday and try and get the three points.

"It would be nice if we could make a bigger gap with the scoreline and taking our chances has been spoken about a lot.

"We need to treat Newport with the same respect that we treat any opponent.

"They beat us last year in out last home game of the season, they have some very good players.

"We will go out there focused and will look to control the ball."
