The Great Hall welcomed a number of sponsors and corporate guests for our latest business club meeting at Priestfield.
The fourth Gillingham FC Business Club meeting was held last week in The Great Hall at Priestfield.
With 60 guests representing 40 of our new LED Club Partners, our guests were treated to coffee and pastries on arrival, before sitting down to listen to GFC Board Director Shannon Hogan Galinson give interesting insight into her initial thoughts on buying the Club, getting to know the culture of the Club, identifying the changes that were required, and then working out a collaborative strategy and timeline to take the Club forward.
Shannon, who was interviewed by the Club’s new Managing Director Joe Comper, also spoke about the Club’s progress since her and husband Brad’s arrival in December 2022, and shared their goals of further growing the business via current strategies as well as via gaining promotion to the higher leagues of the EFL.
Guests were then treated to a full English breakfast, before spending the rest of the time networking with fellow Club Partners.
Tracey Scott Fox, Managing Director of Fallow Management said: “It’s a great environment to meet likeminded business people, just positive discussion and no hard sell. The speakers I have seen have been fantastic. As a business owner, I felt the subjects were relevant and they offered useful advice, that can be used by companies of all sizes."
Dean White, Business Transformation and Engagement Lead of A&A Electrical Distributors said: “Being part of the GFC Business Club offers numerous benefits, including networking opportunities with other professionals in the community, access to valuable resources and expertise, potential collaborations and partnerships, increased visibility and credibility for your business and opportunities for personal and professional development through their events, both on and off the pitch."
The date for the next Gillingham FC Business Club has been scheduled for Thursday 27th June. Our guest speaker will soon be announced.
