Stephen Clemence says the full focus is going to Salford and winning.
Head Coach Stephen Clemence says that confidence in the club is bubbling ahead of the weekend's trip to Salford as the Gills look to maintain their upward trajectory.
After a decent point against league-leaders Stockport and a thrilling victory over Wrexham, Gillingham are continuing to muscle their way into the play-off mix. Now he is calling on his men to keep racking up the points.
"We are definitely up for it," said the Gills boss. "We are going to have to be bang up for it, which we will be!
"We are looking forward to taking on Salford. We are going up there to come back with a positive result.
"It doesn't matter who you play in this division, they are all tough games and I think we are a tough game for any of our opponents. We are going there to win, that is our focus.
"You have to bring the best version of yourself every time you go on the football pitch. If we have enough players who do that then I believe we will get the results that we need.
"It's one game at a time and we will travel to Salford full of confidence. If we play like we did against Wrexham, then we can take anyone on.
"The away following has been absolutely fantastic from our supporters. They turn up in numbers and you can really hear them. They really help the players. We appreciate their commitment and we will make sure we give our best efforts on the pitch to send them home happy."
