Gills Assistant Head Coach says the team will be looking to get back to their very best as Tranmere make the trip to Kent.
Robbie Stockdale wants the Gills to get 'back to business' against Tranmere after the midweek loss to Barrow.
The Kent side had been on a good run prior to Tuesday and Assistant Head Coach Stockdale now sees Saturday as a big chance to put the Gills promotion train back on its track.
"Every game is a key game and this is another one," said Stockdale. "We didn't play as fluidly against Barrow as we had been doing. We are hoping it is a blip in the road. We want to now go on another little run, starting with Tranmere on Saturday.
"They are a stubborn team with good players but I go back to 'it is about us'. If we play to our levels then we are a match for anybody in this division. We dropped our levels on Tuesday, so now we have to get back on it.
“Since the final whistle on Tuesday my focus was ‘where did we go wrong? What could we do better? How are we going to put it into practice against Tranmere’.
"If we win enough games then we will get to where everyone hopes we will be. There is a promotion race and 100 percent we are in it. If you can go on a run you can get yourself right in it. My focus right now, however, is on those 90 minutes against Tranmere.
"We want to get this place rocking and we want to come away with a great result. We need to reach our high standards."
