Club launches new official website

Newweblaunch

The Football Club is delighted to have launched its new official website.

The team behind the scenes have been working hard over the last few months to get the new platform ready for publishing, following the decision to use an alternative web provider following the end of the current EFL Digital arrangement.

Other Media were the partner chosen and both parties have been in regular dialogue to produce a fresh, new website which we hope will improve user friendliness.

With the iFollow service having come to an end, we are pleased to also partner with Stream AMG who will be hosting our video platform and will be responsible for providing video feeds for overseas supporters, while also enabling audio passes to be available for domestic audiences.

Although the site is live there are several areas that are still being worked on by our communications team, but both the website and video platforms will evolve over the next few weeks.

George Crabb, Managing Director of Other Media, said:: “For Gillingham launching their own website is a massive step forward in taking control of how the Club connects with fans.

“It’s been great working with the team to develop the new website, as well as the app and video and streaming service that are still to come, to raise the game for the Gills.

“We’re excited to see the supporters enjoy an improved experience and for the Club to benefit from all the new commercial opportunities.”

Joe Comper, the club's Managing Director added: "This is a brand new venture for the club having decided to withdraw from the EFL Digital Group and we are certain our new digital platforms will go down well with our supporters.

"Working with Other Media has been superb, they have embraced what we wanted from our digital platforms, and there is more to come! Everybody has worked very hard on this project and we are delighted to finally be able to launch."
