Gillingham will play Swansea City away from home in the first round of the 2024/25 Carabao Cup.
The draw was made live on Sky Sports on Thursday morning and it will see the Gills make the long trip to Wales to take on a Championship club, managed by Luke Williams.
Gills made the second round last season but lost narrowly to Luton in an entertaining 3-2 defeat at Kenilworth Road.
