ADAM CHICKSEN RECALLED BY BRIGHTON

Adam Chicksen has returned to Brighton & Hove Albion after his parent club recall the left back from his loan spell at Priestfield

Brighton & Hove Albion have recalled defender Adam Chicksen from his loan spell at Priestfield.

The left back’s deal at Gillingham was due to expire following this weekend’s match against Doncaster but his parent club have triggered a clause for him to return to the Amex.

Adam signed for the club on November 14 and played four games for the club in total, none of which resulted in defeat.

He now goes back to Brighton where Sami Hyypia’s side are preparing to take on Millwall tonight (745).

Peter Taylor said: "Adam Chicksen has done terrific for us and hopefully he will go back and play.

"He did very well and showed a good attitude, Joe Martin has looked even fitter since he's come back and it's made him realise he doesn't want to lose that position again."

Gillingham FC would like to thank Adam for his services while at the club and we wish him well for the future.
