Gillingham FC sign goalkeeper Glenn Morris from Aldershot Town on a one-year contract
Peter Taylor has moved quickly to add to his squad with the addition of goalkeeper Glenn Morris.Glenn, 30, will join the club on July 1 after leaving Skrill Premier club Aldershot Town.
The goalkeeper will come in to challenge last season's `Player of the Year` Stuart Nelson, and will arrive at Priestfield with bags of experience having played in over 200 professional matches.
Glenn began his career at Leyton Orient and featured in 150 games in all competitions in a nine year stint - being voted `Young Player of the Year` in 2003, and then again in 2004.
He joined Southend in 2010 and played a further 57 matches before signing for Aldershot in the summer of 2012.
In his first year he only featured on six occasions, but in the 2013-14 campaign he appeared 31 times, keeping seven clean sheets as the Shots finished 19th in the league table.
He has signed a one year contract.
