Gillingham FC confirm second pre-season fixture against Folkestone Invicta on Friday July 11
Gillingham have moved quickly to add another pre-season friendly to their July schedule.
It has today been confirmed that Peter Taylor’s squad will travel to the Fullicks Stadium on Friday July 11 to take on Folkestone Invicta for Liam Friend’s testimonial.
Friend has played in over 300 games for the club and has been an ever present at centre back since forcing his way in to first team consideration during the 2006/07 campaign.
Kick-Off is scheduled for 7.30pm with Taylor having said all members of the traveling party are likely to get 45 minutes under their belt.
