Former Charlton and Coventry midfielder joins the Gills.
Gillingham have signed midfielder Franck Moussa on a deal until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has been training at the club for a few weeks and started in the 2-1 defeat to Maidstone in the Kent Senior Cup quarter-final last Tuesday evening.
Moussa began his career in Anderlecht’s youth setup before joining West Ham United and Southend where he made his professional debut as a substitute in a 3-0 win over Colchester in March 2006.
The former Belgian U18 and U19 international also enjoyed spells at Coventry, Doncaster and Charlton before signing for Walsall in the summer of 2016 on a one-year contract.
Moussa has been without a club since the summer and joins the Gills as a free agent. Speaking to the club website he said: “It’s good to get a deal over the line; I’ve got used to the place and I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given."
Manager Steve Lovell added: “I’m delighted Franck has signed; he has been with us for seven or eight weeks now and certainly has experience which will be of benefit to the team. In addition to that he possesses a lot of quality and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
